Spicy Burger

After craving for a good burger *I blame Man Vs Food*
Today, I give myself a try
This recipe still needs a bit of modification, but I consider it as a good start.

Spicy Burger

Ingredients:
500 gr Minced Beef
1/3 Cup dry breadcrumbs
1 tsp  sweet paprika
1/2 tsp chili powder
1 medium brown onion, chop finely
1 clove garlic, crushed, and pound into a paste
1 egg, lightly beaten
2 tbsp tomato paste
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions :
1. Saute the onion with a little bit of oil in a medium heat, until very soft (about 10 minutes), set a side to cool
2. Mix the minced gently with your hands for about 2 minutes
3.  Add in chili powder, paprika, onion, crushed garlic, salt, pepper, tomato paste, egg, and breadcrumbs
4. Mix well, until all incorporate
5. Shape it on top of baking paper, and use 3 inch in diameter ring, and 1.5 cm in thickness
6. Let it rest for about 30 mins, in the fridge
7. Heat a pan, with about 1 tbsp of oil
8. Lie the patty gently on the pan, cook it for about 2-3 minutes
9. Flip it over and cook it for another 3 minutes
10. Top it with  a crunchy bacon, some greens, and ketchup
yum.. yum..

Tips :
1. I recommend to use a brisket, and ask the butcher to ground it for you
2. You may adjust the spices accordingly, and add herbs into it
3. The size of the patties will depend on the size of the bun, so you may adjust it too

Hope you enjoy it..
