Pound and Bundt Cakes Bake off : Part 2!!!

This is the second round for bundt and pound cake bake off..
 First of all..
Thank goodness..
It's sunday.. although.. Hell no to monday..
Monday means work will start to pile up again..

anyway... Cut the crap..
Today, I baked pound..
The recipe is taken from dorie greenspan *again*
it is called perfection pound cake..
but I diverted it a little bit
by following her small note, and transferred it into marbled perfection pound cake..
by simply adding melted chocolate..

Perfection Pound Cake
~Dorie Greenspan~

Ingredients :
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
8 oz unsalted butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
4 large eggs, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract (I used more than this)
4 oz dark chocolate, melted

Directions :
1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C
2. Lightly butter the pan (9 x 5 inch loaf pan) or small muffin pan
3. Combine all the dry ingredients ( flour, baking powder, salt), mix well
4. Beat the butter, and sugar, until fluffy and pale
5. Add in the eggs, one at a time
6. Add in vanilla
7. Add in the dry ingredients
8. Divide the batter into two parts
9. Add the chocolate to one part, and leave the another part as it is
10. Pour some of the white batter into the pan, top it with some chocolate batter
make a swirl by using a toothpick or skewer * do as you please*
11. Do it all over again
12. If you are using  9x 5 inch loaf pan, you might need to cook it  for 45 minutes
13. For a small muffin pan like me, you just need to cook it for 20-25 minutes

* Dorie suggested to wrap the cake, once it completely cooled, this is important to somewhat ripen the flavor the cake* I did what I was told ^^

The verdict  :
1. The bundt cake was nice, very chocolatey inside out..The texture was moist and very crumbly
2. The pound cake gave lighter intensity of flavor, although it's crumbly, it wasn't as moist as the bundt cake. *might be because I used small pan, instead of a normal loaf pan*

For pound and bundt cake lover, These recipes are 'something' ^^
